It is widely accepted that tv has become a
part of our daily lives. Some people believe that the government has to
regulate the amount of violence in the mass media. I agree with the idea. This
essay will discuss the reasons why I believe that violence has negative effects
on human beings.
To begin with, there are possible reasons
why I think that violence badly influences on people’s lives. Firstly, it is
possible to stimulate people’s violence instinct. People are inclined to be
familiar to something that they have frequently seen. Since people are
accustomed to the force through the screen. As a result of this, people will
easily be angry with small matters of things, resulting in them having frequent
fight with others. For these reasons, small confliction is likely to be
developed to crimes. Hence, the crime rate will go up.
Secondly, it is not good for children’s
sentiment. In the period of growth, they are easily influenced by something
that they have seen through the screen. For example, there are many scenes
which are brutal in movies; it stimulates people’s aggressive instinct. They
are likely to be grown as a violent person and will face plenty of
difficulties due to their characteristics. As a result, they are likely to be isolated from a
society. For these reasons, it is possible for them to have a high risk of making
crimes.
In conclusion, I personally agree with the
idea that the government should control the amount of violence since it
encourages people’s instincts to be more violent and worsens children’s
sentiment.
